Greetings SIG 10 Affiliates!
I certainly hope that our June issue of Perspectives finds you well after what I hope was a productive spring term! I have much Special Interest Group (SIG) 10 business to share with you, it’s been a very busy few months.
Many of you are aware of a new communication tool on ASHA’s website. The new ASHA Community allows affiliates to talk about issues central to each SIG’s mission. Our SIG has an area dedicated to issues in higher education and many affiliates have made use of this platform in the past months to share information with a broad community of readers across our SIG. If you haven’t taken a look, I invite you to go to the ASHA Community website (http://community.asha.org) and get started. Our coordinating committee will be using our ASHA Community to share information about educational events, elections, and other topics related to our operation, we hope our affiliates will make productive use of this space as well.
