Hello, Division 10 Affiliates! I hope you are all enjoying a renewed sense of energy and purpose as we are in the fall season and, for many of us, the beginning of a new school term. It can be a hectic time of year as we get ready to teach our classes, commit to more committee work, and continue research studies. The urgency of a starting an academic year and looking forward to our approaching national Convention becomes very real, especially if we’ve had even a bit of a summer break!
I hope that you are as impressed as I am by the work of our Perspectives Editor, Nancy Robinson, and Jean Blosser, who has assisted Nancy with this issue. They have brought us some great contributions! The Division 10 Steering Committee is working on our strategic plan and our newsletter is an important membership benefit. We plan to increase the number of issues as well as the quality and quantity of the articles in the future. We’ve seen some good changes this year and look forward to continued joint issues, content articles, and continuing education opportunities. You can help by reading the “Call for Submissions” (attached at the back of this issue) and submitting an article.
