Welcome, Division 10 affiliates, to this first issue of Perspectives for 2004. This issue represents a distinct change for us as it is our first collaborative issue. A huge thanks to members of the Division 12 Steering Committee for suggesting a joint issue. Thanks also to our Perspectives Editor Nancy Robinson and to Gary Cumley, Guest Editor for Division 12, for their work!
I think you’ll agree that it is good for us to be able to learn teaching and course models from experts in AAC. And, because Division 12 is an ASHA approved CE Provider, Division 10 affiliates have the added benefit to earn CEUs with self-study of this issue, if they so choose (forms and instructions are attached at the back of the issue and the CEU Participant Form is enclosed).
