Division 10 is one of two divisions dedicated to a work setting. This particular setting is unique because the focus must not only be on training and regulation, but it must not lose sight of those we are pledged to train: the students. The purpose of this column is to introduce the division membership to the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA).
NSSLHA was founded in 1972. It is the national organization for graduate and undergraduate students interested in the study of normal and disordered human communication. With approximately 11,000 members in almost 300 chapters across the country, NSSLHA is the official national student association recognized by ASHA.
