Welcome, Division 10 affiliates, to this first issue of Perspectives for 2003. As the new Steering Committee Coordinator, I’d like to express a huge thank you to Jean Blosser, former Coordinator for her excellent work in getting the division up and running. Also, thanks to former Steering Committee member, Mike Chial who has been so instrumental in establishing our Web site. Both have promised to continue their work on behalf of Division 10. Jean will be collecting articles, editing, and managing the publication of another issue of The Innovative Professor and has sent out a call for papers, so please contact her if you have an idea or a paper in the works. Mike will continue serving as webmaster; thanks! We are happy to welcome new Steering Committee members Colleen O’Rourke and Shelley Brundage and to know that Jay Lubinski and Jim Naas will continue serving on the committee. Jim has agreed to be Associate Coordinator for this year, and I am especially thankful for his volunteerism. Rounding out our team is Nancy Robinson, Perspectives editor. You’ll see her excellent work in this issue.
